M. Shaun Lundy
Mr. Lundy was born in Galax, Virginia on May 18, 1978.
Mr. Lundy graduated cum laude from Emory & Henry College in May
of 2000 with Bachelor of Art degrees in political science and philosophy.
In 2003, Mr. Lundy received his Juris Doctorate and Master of Studies
in Environmental Law degree, cum laude, from Vermont Law School in South
Royalton, Vermont.
He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar and the United States District
Court for the Western District of North Carolina in 2003, the Tennessee
State Bar in 2010 and the West Virginia State Bar in 2011.
Current memberships include the North Carolina Bar Association, the
Tennessee Bar Association and the West Virginia Bar Association. Mr.
Lundy is a former member of the American Bar Association, the Real Property
and Construction Law sections of the North Carolina Bar Association,
the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (formerly the North Carolina
Academy of Trial Lawyers), the American Association for Justice (formerly
the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), and the Watauga County
North Carolina Bar Association where he served as Secretary/Treasurer
in 2005, Vice-President in 2006 and President in 2007.
Mr. Lundy practiced at the firm of Vetro & Lundy, P.C. in Boone,
North Carolina from 2004 to 2011, before moving back to Southwest Virginia.
While in Boone, Mr. Lundy’s practice focused primarily on real estate
development, construction law and general business litigation. Mr. Lundy
was an active community member while in North Carolina. He served on
the Board of the Watauga Humane Society from 2006 to 2011, including
serving as Vice-President and President of the Board. Mr. Lundy sat
on the Board of Directors for the Village on the Green Property Owners’
Association. He also coached the Watauga County High School Mock Trial
Team.
