B. Alan McGraw
Mr. McGraw was born in Marietta, Ohio on June 30,
1957.
He has extensive experience in health care having worked in acute care
as an emergency room technician and in primary care as a clinical laboratory
technician. Mr. McGraw received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
and General Science Education from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia
in 1987 and taught at Giles High School in Pearisburg, Virginia until
2000. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Appalachian School
of Law in Grundy, Virginia in May, 2003 and was admitted to the Virginia
State Bar in October of the same year.
Mr. McGraw is a member of the National School Board Association Council
of School Attorneys and the Local Government and Business Law Sections
of the Virginia State Bar. He focuses his practice on school law, real
estate, business law, and wills and estates. He currently serves as
President of the Tazewell County Bar Association and is a member of
the Tazewell Lions Club.
