Altizer, Walk and White PLLC has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm's commitment to privacy. Attorneys, like other professionals who give advice on personal financial matters, including real estate closings, are now required by a new federal law to inform their clients of the attorneys' policies regarding privacy of client information. This firm has been, and continues to be, bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are far more stringent than those required by this new federal law. We have always protected, and will continue to protect, your right to privacy.
In the course of providing our clients with financial or business advice and in conducting real estate closings, we often receive significant personal financial information. If you are a client of Altizer, Walk and White PLLC, you should know that all information that we receive from you is held in confidence and is not released to people outside the firm except as agreed to by you or as required by applicable laws and regulations.
We retain records relating to professional services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your professional needs, and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.
Our firm's website contains a "contact us" section. That section provides a form where users may provide us with feedback or comments or pose questions. The form requests users to give us certain personal information. The personal information provided on the feedback form will be used to identify the source of the comments in the event some form of follow-up or response is requested or appropriate.
"Personal information" is one or more of the following types of information: name, email address, zipcode, age, specific areas and/or topics of interest to you and similar unique, personal information that could identify you.
